A Brief Tour of The O3 Custom Control and Data Acquisition Software

There are other interface screens in the software package, this tour is just to give you an example of the function of the software as a whole.  If you would like a demo version of the software or would like to purchase the software, click here.

This screen is where the user enters the specifics of the environment or piece of equipment that is about to be analyzed. After the information is entered, the software takes over and controls the analyzer, logs the data and reports the findings.  This interface screen is the only screen that the user enters information.  Every other function of the software is controlled by mouse clicks.

This screen is where the main interface is carried out.  The incoming data is logged and graphed, which allows the user to see real time trending as it is occurring in the sample subject.  The graphing is also automated in that while data is coming in, before it is plotted the graph is auto scaled to show all of the previous data and to catch any fluctuations that come in.

Pertinent information regarding the function of the analyzer is displayed so the user can see at glance how the analyzer is responding and functioning.  By seeing the control characteristics of the analyzer, the user can make changes on the fly to the features and the setup of the equipment

This interface allows the user to relocated the input port for the software.  The software talks through an available RS232 port or modem.  The port setting can be configured to access the internal on board ports that come with your PC or can also access ad on cards.  The software can go into the field with your technicians and all that is needed is either a dedicated computer for remote monitoring or a standard Pentium based laptop computer.

This reporting interface allows the user to print out a review of the captured data in a pre formatted report.  Also, if you need to export the data to a different package for manipulation, the software package allows the user to export in text or HTML formats.  The final report is generated as soon as the stop reading button is clicked on the main interface screen.  The data is also saved in a database with the unique project identification attached to it for future review and or manipulation through OLE or direct porting to other applications.
